Is April Over?

WOW!  We cannot believe that it is already MAY!  Where in the world did the month of April go? 

Honestly, we were completely blessed all through the month of April....but when you are having fun...time flies!  The first week of April we had a team from San Diego arrive.  They were here from April 2- April 11th.  The team consisted of 18 youth and 6 adults!  Some of you might be saying right now, "Eighteen Highschoolers?  NO THANK YOU" , BUT I can say with all sincerity, "They were awesome"! This was probably the largest team that Toledo Christian Academy has hosted, since we moved here in October 2012 and we loved every moment of the time they were here.  The team was a tremendous blessing to our Family, the school, and the staff.  Everyday they split up into groups and taught Bible in each and every class,  cleared out dead orange trees on school property, painted the preschool playground, and completed the week with a fun fair for the students!

Shortly after their departure ( a week to be exact ) on April 18 the Dos Amigos Medical Team came over for the day and blessed the ministry and painted some of the facilities at the mission!  Dos Amigos has been coming to Belize for 26 years!

 

The VERY next day, we had a team from Virginia arrive.  They were here from April 21-April 27.  They were a blessing as well and we enjoyed having them.  During their time here, they poured the  beams for the new office building, had a VBS for the students,  a movie night for the students and their families, and painted facilities.

 

 

So as you can see April was full of blessings & visitors!  We really appreciated all that everyone did!   We are truly thankful to be apart of this ministry at Toledo Christian Academy, and are thankful for all the relationships we build with everyone who steps foot on the soil of this ministry!  One of the main reasons T.C.A. exists and is able to touch the heart of many young lives is because of the faithful support of team members who pour out their hearts in serving this ministry!
