Summer's OVER???

WOW!  Summer is already coming to an end!  I can honestly say that it has been a LONG summer holiday for us and the kids, but looking back...I don't know where the time has all gone! Travis usually starts singing the Christmas song "It's the most wonderful Time of the Year" about now!  The kids are even excited to get back into school.  It was nice to have a break, BUT 14 weeks seems like an eternity, here in the jungle!

 

Here are some of the things we did this summer to keep busy!

We hosted a team from Virginia. They came and helped build our new office and classroom facility, and host a VBS for the kids. Our kids were in absolute heaven with all the youth that came out!  The team was a huge blessing to the school, our family, and the community! We cannot wait to have them back!!!

OUR MOM'S (GRANDMA'S) MADE A SURPRISE VISIT FOR THE KIDS!

I also tutored some students this summer.  I LOVE that I was able to do this.  My heart is definitely in the classroom and for these kids!

 

OKAY!   So now that summer is coming to an end...we ALL must prepare for school to begin.  This week we will be in the classrooms getting ready for school to start. We have received our books. PRAISE GOD they all arrived!  Our classrooms are being cleaned out and bulletin boards and charts are going up.  Next week we will begin our teacher training, Please keep us in prayer, the students and the start of the school year.

 

Bless their hearts even the kids were helping!
